Being an OFW, you should always motivate yourself in your daily working lifestyle to be able to overcome loneliness especially if you have family way back in the Philippines. It's not because you are working outside the Philippines, you are already living in a comfortable life or you are just enjoying your trip in other country. So true. I'm blessed to have my family with me as I'm currently working in Chicago. But there were times earlier in my career that I travelled alone, sometimes 3 straight months at a time away from my family and our beloved country. I've met with a lot of Filipino OFWs and I've felt their loneliness at being away from their families. It's a tough, tough situation that a lot of people not in the same position will never understand.
